A new school in the desert for gay and bisexual teenagers

The new school is designed to help the young people transition from being a closeted teenager to being accepted as a straight person in the community.

Queensland’s first gay and lesbian school is due to open on Sunday.

A lesbian student at a school for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teenagers has opened a new school.

The school is run by the Gay and Lesbian Services Agency and the children have access to health and education services.

It is the first LGBT school in Australia to be run by an agency.

LGBTQ Youth Services Agency chief executive Tim Scott says the school will serve the LGBTQ community.

“We’ve got young people who are very different from the mainstream, they are coming out and trying to live their lives openly,” he said.

“This school will help them to transition from that.”

The Queensland Government announced last year it was investing $50 million to build a school in an area of the state it deemed unsafe.
