A tattoo on her arm has given an unexpected boost to her budding romance with the legendary rock star.
A photo of the teen’s tattoo, which depicts her smiling at her boyfriend and her arms clasped together, was featured on the wedding album cover of a forthcoming single from Nashville singer Elton Johns.
The story of the two-year engagement began on the morning of May 18, 2017 when the couple met at a local bar.
When she told her boyfriend she was going out, he told her they had a date that evening and would take her home to spend time with their families.
When they returned home, she asked him to call her the next day.
“I was shocked,” she told the Daily News.
“I wasn’t expecting him to answer the phone and he didn’t.”
She went home to the tattoo parlor and sat on the bed to get her first ink.
The next day, she told Elton she was ready to get married.
He replied, “What do you mean?
Why did you want to get divorced?”
She told him, “I want to make a new beginning with my parents.
I want to give them my love and I want them to be happy.”
The pair got married at the Hollywood Hills Ranch, a resort owned by Elton and his wife, Jane.
The photo shows her holding Elton’s hand as she waves and laughs, while Elton sits at her side.
“She really is happy.
I’m very happy with her,” Elton told the Associated Press.
“It’s been an amazing thing to see.”
“I don’t think she’s happy with me.
It was a pretty big break.
I was going through a period of depression, I wasn’t in a relationship and I was so unhappy with myself.
And I think this is what makes her so happy.
She knows it’s just another thing she has to work on, and she’s very patient with me.”
The couple married in California on December 4, 2018, in a ceremony at the Los Angeles County Courthouse.
The couple announced their engagement in a statement after the ceremony, which was attended by celebrities, music superstars and friends of the couple.
Elton and Jane Johns have four children together.
