NVADA — A Nevada couple is getting married using a virtual marriage law that allows them to share their lives and loved ones online.
“This is the first time that I’ve been married using this,” said Lauren Seltzer, 27, of Las Vegas, Nevada, according to ABC News.
“We really hope it’s the start of something bigger.”
Seltzer is among a growing number of couples who have gotten married using the state’s Virtual Marriage Act, which allows people to get married with their virtual family or friends, without having to live together in a real wedding.
The state of Nevada is one of a few that allows virtual marriages, according the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which reported that some couples are having weddings on Facebook, Google Hangouts, and Skype.
It is also one of the few states that allows couples to get engaged using online dating apps like Tinder, Hinge and Plenty of Fish.
The new state law, passed in 2016, was designed to encourage people to share more than just their marriage vows online.
The law allows people who are “married” online to share information about the couple, such as who they are, how long they’ve been together, and where they are now.
Seltner said that in the couple’s first wedding, they had planned to share all of their wedding photos and other personal information online.
Instead, they decided to take a different approach, and the couple said they have been “married in the privacy of our own home.”
“The more we share, the more we can share together, so we can be able to get a lot of support from other people, and to be able have a lot more fun together,” Seltner told ABC News by phone from her home in Reno.
“It’s just a big celebration.”
Sellers is currently in New York, where she and her fiancé have been planning a wedding anniversary party.
They are planning to bring their friends and family to their wedding, and will have a DJ and food truck.
They also want to get the word out about the event.
“We want to keep the wedding as real as possible so we don’t have to worry about what people are going to think,” Sain said.
“It’s a great opportunity to have a fun party that is a celebration of the fact that we are living as one and not as a couple,” she said.
Sain said that she and Seltzer have been together for four years, and that their marriage was the result of years of trying to be open with their partner about their marriage.
“I just want to be the best person that I can be, and we’ve worked so hard for that,” Sildzer said.
